Ingredients

Amontillado sherry
(chilled)

ounce
simple syrup

ounce
lemon juice
¼
ounce
Angostura bitters

ounces
champagne
(chilled; to top)
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice.
Stir then top with chilled champagne.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry and an (optional) orange wedge.
