SUZE is known for its dry, bitter, gentian-heavy flavor profile, but this cocktail is surprisingly bright and refreshing. Yellow Chartreuse and mint’s herbal notes play well with SUZE, and come together in this drink to make a refreshing tipple that’s perfect for spring or summer.
This cocktail was create by Nate Young of Hodges Bend when a regular asked him to attempt to recreate a cocktail that he had in France. The result is something that is the perfect balance of sweetness, refreshing acidity, and minty notes.

Hi, Kay! SUZE has been hard to come by for the past year or more. I think it’s due to some import tariffs. Two alternatives are AVÈZE and Salers. You can find AVÈZE at Ranch Acres or Parkhill. I’ve seen Salers around, but can’t recall where I picked up my bottle.
Cheers!
