The flavors found in coffee blend well with spirits, but too often coffee cocktails come out tasting diluted. Finding the proper balance between the base spirit and the coffee can be a game of cat and mouse. Fortunately, there is a simple solution.
Hotel bars tend to be synonymous with overpriced and underwhelming cocktails. Too often they are simply the first on the list of potential tourist traps for the weary traveler.
Generally I like to elaborate a bit more about a cocktail or recipe before I feature it, but this is an exception.
